At this time of year, I like to take time to reflect on the progress that has taken place across our school over the course of the year. I began this year with promises to you. That your child would settle. That they would make friends. And that they would learn. And they have. Our children have progressed beautifully in so many ways. They’ve learned about how to make friends, resolve conflicts with grace, how to care for their environment and friends and how to do important things with greatly increasing independence. They have progressed and many have excelled, in their academic work with children reading and writing confidently and with enthusiasm. Counting, adding and subtracting accurately. Reflecting on their learning with references to the Core Values. It has been absolutely amazing to see our young learners become more capable, confident and independent day by day and I am immensely proud of each and every one of them.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our families a happy, safe and restful summer holiday. We will look forward to welcoming many of you back when we return in September.
