From Wednesday 3rd June - Friday 6th June, Form 4 were at the Marchants Hill PGL centre, trying a variety of exciting and challenging activities. We explored the surrounding Surrey countryside on the first afternoon, walking through woods and learning to recognise different local fauna. Despite lots of exercise, the children were very excited to be in their rooms with friends and so sleep was in short supply that first evening!
On the following days, children climbed and abseiled down towers, sped across zip wires and had goes on the giant swing. The latter proved to be the most popular activity and many pupils managed to go to the highest possible height. Form 4 also got extremely muddy during the challenge course!
It was wonderful to see so many children gain confidence through testing themselves and the Form really pulled together to provide support and encouragement for each other.
