"Eight Reception students have made an enthusiastic and impressive start to learning the piano. We have been locating the notes with the help of some miniature toys- Dexter Dog, Candy Cat, Freddie Frog and a box full of butterflies! The children have done a very good job of finding the animals' homes on the piano and have also been very patient and understanding when Derek the Dragon blew them away with a huge sneeze and left them needing rehoming. We have also been talking about hand position and finger independence, and have been doing some fun listening; the students have enjoyed playing a nice loud tambourine. I am very excited to watch and listen to these very young pianists flourish on their journey to becoming musicians!"

Lauren McAleavey - ‘I tried to find the butterfly, frog, cat’s homes on the keyboard. It was brilliant’
Emma Parsons - ‘I had a great time at my piano lessons. I am beginning to learn how to read music and the alphabet runs through all the keys.’
