We offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities after school for our pupils in Forms 4 to 6, from 4.15pm to 5.20pm.
The following after school clubs are available to Forms 4 to 6 throughout the year
| Chess Club
Enjoy the opportunity to play competitively against opponents whilst learning strategy to gain the edge! As well as being for fun, this club offers the chance to improve your skills with an experienced chess coach.
Mini Chefs Cooking Course
This new exciting course is for anyone taking their first steps in the art of cookery. Learn from Chef Kevin all the traditional basics, theory and practical.
Boxing Club
The Elms Sport in Schools have partnered up with Norfolk House School to offer non contact boxing to our year Senior Prep. The boys and girls in this club will improve their coordination and fitness whilst learning boxing movements and patterns. |
| Spanish Language Club
Spanish language club for beginners. We're going to learn all the basics of communicating in Spanish for when the children go on their holidays to Spain! We will also look at Spanish culture, food and history.

Let your creativity and culinary skill show through in this fun and exciting new Healthy Cooking Course with Chef Kevin.
Boys Football Club
The boys football club is for boys who wish to play for the school. The school teams will be selected from boys who attend this club. The club is aimed at improving the boys skills and preparing them for fixtures and tournaments. Sessions will therefore involve lots of skill and team development and may end in small games.
Girls Recreational Football
Recreational football is focused on enjoyment and playing football. Whilst we may run some skills sessions the aim of the sessions are to play games and improve our sportsmanship, knowledge of rules and communication skills.

| Debate Club
This is a club for any children who are interested in advancing their debating skills. We will explore (age appropriate) current affairs and philosophical ideas. This club will develop children's critical thinking and analytical skills as well as keeping them up to date with politics, culture and interesting philosophical concepts.
Movie Making
In this new and exciting club the children will have the opportunity to work in small groups and use the iPads and various apps to create their own movies. Each week we will have a different theme as a focus and the children will be able to take on the role of actors, directors and editors, incorporating music and other effects to entertain their audience!
Netball Club
The girls netball club is for girls who wish to play for the school. The school teams will be selected from girls who attend this club. The club is aimed at improving the girls skills and preparing them for fixtures and tournaments. Sessions will therefore involve lots of skill and team development and may end in small games.
Street Dance
The sessions will be fun, energetic and cool ranging from creating routines to be performed for friends and family, freestyles, learning new tricks and dancing to the latest hits. Whether you want to learn a new skill or build your confidence street dance is the place to be. |
| Book Club
During the sessions the children will get the chance to explore texts, poetry, comics and graphic novels by a variety of well-known authors such as David Walliams, Chris Riddell, Lemony Snicket and Anthony Horowitz to name only a few. Every week the children will be asked for suggestions for authors or themes to focus on in the coming sessions as the club will be tailored to the interests of the individuals attending. Book Clubbers will have the opportunity to discuss the language and styles used by the different writers and have a go at writing short pieces inspired by what they have read. The children can also take part in art and drama based activities to deepen their understanding of the texts we discuss. |
| Art Club
In Art the children will have the opportunity to use a range of resources including pastels, paint, yarn, clay and collage. They will take inspiration for their work from a variety of artists as well as cultural/ religious celebrations throughout the year.
