Cricket Round Up

Over the last two weeks we have played a number of cricket fixtures. On 11th June the Year 5s played against Haberdashers’ Aske’s boys’ school, on 18th June the Year 5 & 6s played Normanshurst, on 19th June the Year 3 & 4 girls played Devonshire House and on 21st June the Year 3s played against Normanshurst.

As all of the games involved A&B fixtures in all we played eight games and won six. Our pupils have really taken to cricket this term and have shown huge improvement as the term has progressed.

If your son or daughter is interested in playing outside of school there are a few clubs close by that I would recommend:

• Crouch End Cricket Club - ppiphone@yahoo.co.uk . Juniors train on friday evenings. CECC run a summer cricket camp.
• North London Cricket Club - beckyissitt1@gmail.com . NLCC have over 60 girls playing on a Sunday morning (10-12). Boys play at the same time on the adjoining pitch. NLCC also run a summer cricket camp.  
• North Middlesex Cricket Club - nmcc.colts@gmail.com . Probably the largest of the three clubs, they train on a Saturday morning. NMCC also run a summer cricket camp.
